Rant alert!!! I love my friend. I love walking with her. I’m not one to do things alone and without her I would have done nothing the entirety of January. But I have been sitting here waiting for her for an hour thus far. No text no nothing. Obviously something has gotten crossed up she is normally 30 mins late not an hour. But really??!!! We only walk an hour because she doesn’t have more time. We need another walking partner so we could be walking while waiting for her. Rant over. I’m fine.

I’ve walked 30 miles this month. Yay me. 2.92 this morning and boy was it cold!!! In fact I am still cold. I’m never cold!! This is a very odd sensation. Now I’m back at the house. I hate it! My mother drives me insane. Hopefully my place will sell soon and I can make new plans for myself. I wouldn’t mind living here with my mother in my grandmothers house if I have the money to spend 3 weeks or more a month traveling elsewhere 😊. My mother is a good person but we are not close and she is always wanting to live through me. It is constantly where are you going, who are you talking with, what have you been doing, trying to read over my shoulder when I’m on my phone. You name it. She never leaves the house or looks up from one of her hundreds of harlequin romances. Sorry for the rant. She just pushes my buttons

I jumped the gun a bit and weighed before the month was actually over but ... 186.0. This 1 pound a week loss is slow but very steady thus far. I’ve been at this since nov 4 and the weight loss is exactly as it was in the beginning. I’ll take it😊.

6.2 miles today. We actually went 3 different places to see what the trails were like. Started the day about 10:30 and ended about 3:00. It has been a good Monday. Last night my boyfriend decided to end our relationship for good via an email. Oh well 😔. Hopefully that will be the end of my tragic month and there will be new and better things on the horizon for me. I’m already planning a trip to LA February 18 to see a friend. I hope to give myself a monthly mini vacation this year so I will have to start planning for March soon. The rump shaker 5K may have to do for my March activity. At least it will be something new and that is really what I’m looking for. New and better days. Life experiences. Healthy living both mentally and physically. Those are the goals.
