I didn't record yesterday, because I was busy cooking. I had 4 wing drumettes with Asian sauce. I had about half a cup of rice - medley by Trader Joe's, and I had half a cup of cream of celery soup with nothing in it. Then, I had about 2/3 of a bottle of red wine. I think this is seriously within my limits for the day.

My journal for yesterday said I went over, but actually I did not, because I did not finish the bottle of Apothic Red. There was one glass left when I went to bed.

I could not finish my food diary yesterday, because my computer was not behaving. And I had wine, so I probably went over my allotment, although I did not have a full 3 cups of wine. The celery soup base that I made today and froze most of was not as many calories as the cook book says it is, because I used cubed potatoes in it to thicken it, so I did not have to add in the 2 T of butter and the flour. I'll thin the soup tomorrow with some fat free half and half in each individual bowl. As it turns out, I did not completely finish my bottle of red wine. There was half of a small glass leftover.

It's Easter. I am making everything simple. Dinner is spaghetti. I have marinara sauce left in the freezer from last fall. I was going to make meatballs, BUT I realized I could save messing up another pan, if I just brown the meat and add the sauce and simmer it. The rolls are easy. I can simply bake them. The salad is that layered one, but I will not layer it. I will present all the ingredients separately, and folks can mix their own. This calls for an oil and vinegar dressing: Vada's dressing. And that's it. Ice cream for dessert, if anybody will bring some. And freshly grated Parmesan for the pasta. I'll let Becs have the avocado and the leftover cooked carrots, because she is so fond of vegetables. I think I will be over my allotment for today. What the heck! It is a holiday, and I will be having my usual red wine.

I had a very late dinner at Clementine's with Rebecca. I tried the blackened ribeye steak, and it was very good. It was advertised as a 12 oz. steak, and I ate almost half of it. I'll have to weigh the leftovers to really know. (When I weighed the leftover steak, I had 5 oz., and of that, about 1/2 oz. is waste. Unreal!!!) And that was my dinner: steak, grilled zucchini and cooked carrots - and 2 raspberry drop martinis. Clementine's does those so, so well.
