My weight's returned to 160 but remained consistent when we went to Portland... Guess all the walking mediated out the Voodoo Donuts and other amazing food we found there. I'm not sure percentage wise if it's muscle vs fat... but I know my pants fit well or want to fall off.
So thats...good?

Perfecting my "grumpycat" face today-- the exact opposite of what I was hoping to do. I thought fixing my phone would make things better but now I have a new phone I don't know how to use that wants to connect to my e-mail etc... and I don't have any of the passwords. Frustrating to say the least, especially since it hasn't kept any of my apps including my food/fitness tracker.
House mates getting on the edge of my last frayed nerves too-- I really hate it when people touch my stuff, and "try to help" they end up ruining what I'm doing.

Somehow I lost weight over night again although I was sure I'd be gaining. Long story short there was lots of eating at Buffalo Wild Wings, and a tasty but angry berry Mojito <3 Even though we split samplers and sides I still ate a load of food with my boys and had a long walk afterwards. I was still convinced I'd be 3lbs bigger today though lol.

Definitely feeling the results of my last gym visit still- heavy weights on those tricep extensions and they still ache!
I was talking to my mother the other day about how I'm using the MyFitnessPal app now vs how her and my stepdad are doing weight watchers again... she kept asking me what the premise was of the tracker and I kept misunderstanding. To get fit, eat healthier, lose weight? She had to rephrase her question several times before asking what the target of the dietary restrictions were: What was being cut out of the diet, carbs, fat, bread, etc? Stunned it took me a few minutes, there's nothing omitted, you just track what you eat and try to stay within the right ranges for someone your size (or caloric intake breakdown).
Kinda funny how hard that was to understand though.
I don't really want to eat in a way that I can't eat a lot of things, I need the options to be able to stay interested so eating smartly-- ie the right amount of carbs, fats, protein and such... is way better for me and I think it will be in the long run too. In theory I won't be backtracking from a non/low carb diet to trying to eat them again and such for instance.

Starting to believe in the importance of staying hydrated, I've also been working on including various foods and eating a bit more creatively to make sure I get certain nutrients from my foods and not just my supplements (like calcium, vitamin C, iron, etc...).
I also notice that I crave gym time when I'm stressed since it's like my quiet ME time and it helps mellow me out. The results are starting to get notice from family too, which is pretty satisfying- it's not just how the clothes fit <3
