First, the 228 weigh in is from 2 weeks ago. I just didn't have the heart to put it in the computer until now. Life has been something of a struggle and I am struggling to get back to the right mind set and motivation to get my weight back under control.

I'm working now on consciously making sure that I drink much more water than I have been, and to lay off the "snacks" that invariably make up my day. I expect this should be a little easier since the medication my doctor put me on for insomnia also gives me terrible dry mouth and it is pretty much impossible not to be drinking something all the time.

So that is my first step, drink more water, eat less and go from there. I'm going to weigh in tomorrow and see what news the scale has for me. I expect that I will be at 230 which will be a bummer, but if I don't weigh myself I won't know. And I won't be motivated to do something about it. I wish my husband wasn't so doggedly against exercise machines because an elliptical is fun and I could do it now, when it's 20 degrees out. Yeah I know I could do calisthenics but that's not fun it's more like torture.
I'll check back in tomorrow with my weight.
