Today's workout...only did half of the 60 minute zumba https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9AGGwiqiKFo
Feeling good about starting the day that way. I said to my 3.5 year old...I'm pooped! She says, "You pooped?" No...I'm pooped means I'm tired. I'm tired and pooped! "You pooped and you're tired?" hahaha Funny things we say!

The last couple of evenings I've stayed up later. I've had those comfort moments where I just want to dig into food. Mostly, I'm just tired. Planning ahead and leaving myself some calorie/carb wiggle room has saved my tush. Guess I need to try and keep that going. Good thing is typically I wouldn't have my calories set as low as 1200. So, when I up my calories back to 1500 I will be golden! Again...feeling successful in simply staying on track with my nutrition. Hitting a stride and working towards a lifestyle change is something I've strived for over many years.

Happy Friday!!! Yesterday I had to stay up late to get an email campaign sent out. Since it had been a few hours since dinner I was hungry again AND tired. Not a good combo! However, I had saved one last snack and stuck to it. Didn't go over my calories and didn't give in to a higher carb count. Today I feel proud of myself. The choice was to give into cravings and feel disappointed today or stay on my nutrition plan and move one step closer to my goals. One day at a time I am moving closer to the fitness and health goals I have been working towards for a long time. By Wednesday next week I want to be in the 150's. I can do this.

Even though the weight is coming off a little more slowly than I'd like, I'm so proud of myself for staying on my meal plans and working out. I did some calculating last night and decided I'm dropping a few calories to speed things up. Ideally I'd like to be dropping 2 pounds each week. 1,200 is a little on the low side, but I'll give it a shot for two weeks and see what comes of it. Also, adding more strength training to be sure I'm maintaining muscle while burning the fat. Did a couple of killer HIIT workouts this week. Fitness blender rocks my world. Did half of a Jillian Michael's workout, too. WHEW! Girl can kill ya! Feeling positive about my accomplishments and sticking with my nutrition plan. :)
