I'm 31 and I live in North Wales with my husband and my 5 year old son. I lost 2 stones with Weight Watchers a couple of years ago but gave up when my mum became very ill. It is now nearly 18 months since she died and I am trying very hard to move forwards positively.

I'm vegetarian so am always on the lookout for some new yummy, veggie low point recipes!!! I've not been doing anything exciting in the kitchen for months now so I need to get stuck back and trying some new recipes with healthy, fresh ingredients :)

I worked full time in the media industry up until becoming a mummy and I now work a 12 hour Sunday shift each week broadcasting and editing for the BBC and I also work from home through the week as a freelance writer, working for sites including www.beabritdifferent.com
