My name is Nicki, I am 32 yrs old, mother of twin Boy and Girl. I have be trying to lose weight for years I have gone from being 129 at age 18 to 248. I have come to the point where my health has told me you gotta do something soon, sugar high, bp high and choles high. I actually started my diet on Jan 28, 2009 weighting in at 248 but just found this website Feb 26, 2009. I have lost 13lbs in a month which has been a big incentive for me, I work out at the local hospital Cardiac Rehab 4 days a week I love it there!
My diet that I am following was giving to me from my Dr, I am watching my carbs and uping my fiber. I allow my self about 55-60 carbs aday and 1200-1400 calories and 35 to 40gms of fiber aday, but I am not eating any breads, pasta, potatos, snacks and have cut out sugar.
I am so glad that I have found this site it is so informative, I think that it will help me along and keep me on track.
