I love, love food. Many of my favorite childhood memories revolve around food. I remember the rainbow sprinkles on birthday cakes, pizzelles made every Christmas, hum baos from Four Seas, fried chicken in the summer and other countless moments. I carried those memories into adulthood and equated happiness with food. While my passion for food has brought much joy, it’s also brought grief. If I have to question whether I control my eating habits or if it’s the other way around, that’s reason enough for me to be here. My goal is not to eliminate foods but enjoy them in moderation.
