I HAVE A SWEET TOOTH!
Maintaining my weight has always been a challenge. Now that I'm in my 40's it's a daily adventure. B-)
MY GOALS
*80% of the time have a healthy diet and 20% of the time enjoyed delicious temptation foods with friends.
*Do not keep temptation foods in the house. (For some reason at 12 o'clock at night I start craving ice cream in large quantities!)
*Count Calories:2,400-2,000 Calories per day. This probably isn't the best diet on the planet. But, I cannot stick to any food program that makes me feel deprived or that is too complicated to follow.
* Exercise first thing in the day! Do an activity that you love,if you don't like it you won't stick to it. If you take care of yourself, you will be better able to take care of all the many things that you have to do in the day. When I worked 60 to 70 hours a week I still somehow managed to find time in the morning to work out. Granted riding the lifecycle while drinking coffee is not what most people envision as healthy.
*I can't count how many times I have been really good on my diet, only to end up overeating at night. Quote from the magnet on my refrigerator, "Success consists of getting up once more often then you fall down." Anonymous. ;-)
