Happy Thursday everybody!
This journal entry is for Thursday. I'm hoping to be down another pound to celebrate 100 pounds lost. Still need to lose 57 pounds to get to my goal of 130 pounds and that is a healthy weight for me.
Some of my new buddies have asked me to share what I've done to lose this much weight. First I did not do this on my own. The help of my Fatsecret buddies has been the most valuable gift that I have recieved for this journey. Sending a big THANKYOU to all my buddies. God has been a very present help when I have needed him too. Educating myself by reading and trial and error mostly. This is a work in progress and I certainly don't consider myself an expert. There are much more experienced people here that have been doing Atkins for much longer than me.
Things that I've changed recently:
-Not eating processed meats...eating whole foods
-Increased my water intake
-Eating Chia seeds *fiber and nutritious
-Cut back on the cheese for awhile
-Investigated my food diary
-Lowered my net carbs
-Eating more leafy greens like baby spinach
I hope that something in this journal helps somebody with their journey today. We Can Do It With God's Help and the help of our Fatsecret buddies! Love and Hugs to All
Here's the before photo of me (286 pounds) when my first granddaughter Olivia was born. She is almost 2 years old. Her birthday is in April.
And here is me now with 57 pounds still to lose. Can you see any difference?
UPDATE: I made it to my goal of 186. Now 56 more pounds to go. Will try to keep the momentum going. Thanks for all your support my friends. Love and Hugs{{{}}}
