A sensational stew consisting of vegetables and catfish.
材料
調理方法
- Bring water to a boil in a large pot.
- Add bouillon cubes to boiling water.
- In a separate skillet, add olive oil and sauté the onion, green pepper, garlic, and celery until tender.
- Add the sauteed vegetables, okra, and tomato to the pot.
- Add salt, pepper sauce, thyme, red pepper, and bay leaf.
- Let cook for at least 30 minutes.
- Add catfish and simmer for another 15 - 20 minutes.
- Serve and enjoy!

I give it 5 stars because for ONCE my husband loved something I cooked that was healthy! I thought is was pretty good too, and I don't like catfish or okra, the kids couldn't get past the ingredients, so they missed out.

I'm making this dish for the second time. Delicious dishes like this make it easy to stay on the right diet path. I also used low sodium bouillon. I cut the spicy stuff bc I have to make it kid friendly.

This recipe is AWESOME!! That being said, I substitued flounder for the catfish (catfish being too expensive for my budget) and zucchini for the okra, as I'm not a fan of okra. However, despite the substitutions, I would recommend this to ANYONE looking for something a bit different or something zesty. Restaurant quality stew, for sure!!! YUMMY!!!!!

One of my favorites. I took the easy way of using a cajun seafood seasoning packet which had all the ingredients I would use and it didn't seem to cause any change in my weight loss.

I can't seem to edit this recipe anymore, but only 2 cubes of bouillon is necessary for this recipe. Sodium free bouillon can also be substituted in this recipe.
