off today! cleaning house and watching the hurricane coverage. my son is taking me to a health food store on wednesday and gonna show me around. he has been eating healthy for awhile now and lost quite a bit of weight. im wanting to work out instead of walking but i feel guilty. idw? might do both. gotta get laundry done too. its piled up! already started on that! cooking chicken breast today as well. gonna check out wheat germ when i go to krogers to get my salad

Why do you feel guilty? You have to do what is right for you.... A nice balance of strength and cardio is good.... Instead of just walking, try and introduce a bit of jogging too.... Just start off with 30 seconds jogging, followed by 3 minutes walking... Then repeat as you grow used to the jogging extend your jogging time. This is what I am doing at the moment. Sometimes outside if it is nice, other times on the treadmill. My Tuesday gym session is a mix of vey fast walk, then run - repeat 6 times. I do it for 34 minutes. You've then got the bes of both worlds - I also strength train (with weights) at the gym and supplement it with my hand weights at home

ty skinny. u are right! i just a feeling of not doing what i feel i should be doing but ur right. im gonna substitute it for my weight training. and i did do some jump roping which was hilarious. i havent jumped rope since i was little. its harder than i thought lol. and if its nice out later i might go for a walk/jog like u suggested. im really excited about seeing what i can do and getting healthier and stronger
