Today is the end of my Egg fast and switching it to a fat fast. I've gone 3 days with the EF and no weight loss. I usually lose almost 4 lbs on a fat fast. So for the next two days I'll do the FF. I hope to drop 1 lb. I think the most encouraging thing is I have not been cheating. It feels good to express some control over what I've been putting in my mouth.

He tino kino te pai, thats awesome, congratulatoons on the self control, what is a fat fast?? I did watch butter makes your pants fall off, it does make sence if I eat carbd for breakfast I'm starving by 10, if I have eggs or protein I'm good till 12, blimin fat belly stealing my food!

A fat fast is four or five days of eating high fat (butter, heavy whipping cream, eggs, mayo, macadamia nuts, cream cheese) up to 1000 -1200 calories. I usually lose 3.8 lbs but regain a little back abuot 1 lb. Doing that today and tomorrow.. see what the scale does.

Socolova, this is my 3rd round day 4. Round 2 I lost 3.2 lbs. Then regained 3, now I'm re-losing the same lbs I've lost 1.8 lbs in 4 days. But today I'm doing a fat fast instead of the egg fast.

Have you been low-carb for a while? Or are you just metabolism boosting from your norm? I'm researching high-fat and just kind of curious....

I've been low carb since Aug. 2013 (19.5 months) I take medication daily and its really hard to lose weight so I fast to get the lbs down. I do intermittent fast, fat fasts. I tried the egg fast but I'm not impressed with it. I have today and tomorrow left before i can return to normal non-restrictive low carb, high fat induction. My first goal is in sight but illusive. 199.

Thanks! I'm kind of looking into low-carb/high-fat and intermittent fasting so I'm just trying to get people's perspective from both sides...
