Don't know what I am doing different, if anything LaraStar... At the moment I have been lucky... But no doubt I will come to a plateau soon. I have changed what I do, in the beginning my exercise consisted of daily wii fit plus, mainly boxing and step with the occasional hula hoop and other "fun" games, initially for 30 mins then upped to burn min 400 calories- calorie intake was about 1,000 calories.
I then started wii sports active 30 day challenge on easy, with wii fit plus on "rest days" - calories were about 1,000- 1100.
I started another 30 day challenge, still on easy, with the wii fit + on "rest days, plus got wii dance 2 and began doing
that (but it began to hurt my knees for some reason) probably did it every other day- calories were still about 1000-
1100.
Approx two + months ago I got "step to the beat" and did that approx every othe day along with occasionally doing wii fit + Calories were still about 1100.
About 6 weeks ago I started aqua fit and bit of swimming and did that twice a week and on other days I either went swimming or did wii fit+ or step to the beat (did something every day) upped my calories a bit to 1200.
About 3-4 weeks ago started gym - and did treadmill and strength exercises -still did aqua fit twice a week and concentrated on eating more protein and less carbs - tried to up calories to 1200 - 1300 - ( plus did quite a lot of gardening)
2 weeks ago I got my gym programme, which i Have documented in my journals, still go to aqua fit twice a week - cause I really enjoy it. Trying to up my calories to 1400 and concentrate on eating protein and lowering carbs - have not been eating bread because I am trying my hubby on wheat free diet.
Documenting this in reply to you has helped me.... I have really changed my exercise routines maybe that's why I haven't plateaued yet... But I won't speak too soon
