Well, I took some time off as per the protocol for the HCG diet plan. It worked out well since it gave me time to plan to start all over again during the Memorial Day Weekend. (Second round of HCG diet)
I got to enjoy the favorites such as potato salad and BBQs. For my Birthday dinner the night before, I had my hubby take me to Braums, where I had a small hamburger, french fries and a wonderful caramel hot fudge pecan Ice Cream Sundae as my final splurge meal. I have not had Ice cream for well over a month. It was delicious. and I feel that I can stick with the strict part of the diet for another 30 (-) days till Fourth of July weekend, and lose some more weight as I did the first time around.
In retrospect, I can see why this diet is a good one for me. I see the results, it disciplines me to watch the size of my food portions, as well as limiting my choices so less chance of messing up. With the drops I do not feel hungry, so the small amounts are tolerable.
It challenges me to be creative, so I do not become bored with my meals. Today, I missed my lunch, but that is probably ok. I ended up having a snack before dinner. so I think I did alright.
