Saw the doctor this week. She thinks that this weight is probably right for me. She also thinks that at 26.4% body fat and low visceral fat, that at 66 years of age, I shouldn't worry about getting below the 25% level that the charts call for. So, even though I'm down a pound this week, I'm not actively trying to lose weight. It's more about building muscle and toning. I've been really pleased that despite losing 150 pounds, I don't have a lot of excess skin. I'm down to 34" waist pants (from 52") and medium shirts (from 3X). I'm back to riding my bike 25 miles every morning, but my cracked rib, wrist and thumb from my bike crash in July are still preventing me from Kayaking. My new dive computer arrived today and I'm going to get re-certified for SCUBA diving beginning on August 23rd. So that's some more exercise that I'll be able to utilize. I had a tech out to look at my stair stepper machine, but it may be unfixable due to a lack of parts (it's a very old machine, but I love it and they don't make this style anymore.) We're leaving in the morning for another week of travel, so exercise will be challenging, as will healthy eating, but we'll do our best. I hope that y'all have a wonderful weekend and a great week.
