I'm a little disappointed. I know I've fallen off the wagon on eating healthier foods. (Cravings have been awful and I'm blaming PMS.) I've added a lot of extra activity though, and hoped to see at least a little loss. My budget is making it difficult to keep the healthier foods I know I should be eating around, which has left more junk accessible. Blah.

On the upside, I did take a two hour bike ride by myself. It was the same route I took with my friend the first time, which she clock at about 7 miles on her odometer. And where I had my husband drop me off, when I got back to the starting point I had to walk/ride home, which I would estimate out at another five miles, but I'll plug it into Mapquest later to see. I took my 3.5 mile walk on Saturday evening, and then took a 3.5 mile hike on the mountain the next day with my husband, my boss, and boss' wife. We were warned the first 20 minutes would kick our butts. For the first time ever I saw my husband ready to give up and go back to the truck, blaming it on needing to quit smoking again. I managed to encourage him to keep at it, and we made the whole hike. And I took another walk last night.

I'm really hoping the gain has more to do with building some muscle and water retention more than my lapse in food choices. Even a small slip back is discouraging at the moment. 160-165 seems to be the area I stall out and give up. I don't want to give up. I want to keep going, but it doesn't seem like I'll ever reach my goal weight.
