weekend was awesome - much needed downtime and mental rest. Yesterday my weight was 74.6 (up from 72.8) so I definitely had a good time feasting on hot X buns with honey. Today it's down to 73.4 and I'm feeling less bloated. I'm not an advocate of cheat meals. I believe in positive self talk, and that it's ok to treat ourselves. A cheat implies secrets have been kept, which imo doesn't lead to success. If you plan to indulge... do so with honesty to yourself, so that you can take the break and return to your plan without guilt or negative self talk. Back to plan since Monday for me meant IF 18:6, protein packed lunch, a hearty dinner and a few Marie biscuits in-between because, hey.... there are still some snacks still left in the cupboard from the weekend 🍪 A balanced lifestyle means knowing when to celebrate and knowing when to stop and eating mindfully.
