I have the same problem at times. When I'm busy, I sometimes wait too long to eat and then I'm ravenous. Over the last 6 months, I've learned to make time for a proper high-protein breakfast but go for things that are quick to grab on the go, like a couple of Ryvita and low-fat Philadelphia with lean ham/turkey/chicken.

Hi Erin...its not easy to eat first thing in the morning for me either..I have to wait or food will make me queasy..when we are working on the old home place we get busy like that too..and by 1 or 2 we are starving for our lunch I pack..Sounds like your making good food choices though...Keep up the good work...:O)

Thanks for the tips. Today I made sure to have jerky on hand just in case I get stranded. I just have to remember to drink a lot of water to combat the higher sodium.

Trader Joe's turkey jerky isn't too awful on the sodium...it does have a little sweeteners though...check it out.

Ooo, there is a Trader Joe's very near me. I will go check it out.

My morning hunger comes and goes; when I am away from home w/o a lot of options I keep those single serve peanut butters and a bag of celery with me - gives me the protein I need to settle the low sugar attack from not getting to a meal on time. Good on you for still making good choices when you did eat.
