bright line eating plan is nothing short of a miracle for me. It helps me treat my food addiction without starving. I lose weight effortlessly.

I haven't used this site in some time! I got an email saying someone new was following me so I logged in to see what's what. I will change my bio, but, times have changed a bit. I tried intermittent fasting until pandemic and 100% working from home and living with my in-laws made that almost impossible. I tried Noom and learned a lot but, also, did not stick with it. I started Bright Line Eating, by Susan Pierce Thompson on April 25, 2022. I'm choosing to believe this will be different and effective. I'm cutting out all refined sugar and sugar substitutes, and flour. I love the food I'm eating, I've struggled with withdrawal symptoms. I'm still trying to manage my time and resources to make it work. I do miss some foods that are not on this plan, but by and large, I'm satisfied.

This is the day after 2 back to back 48 hour fasts. I didn't plan on fasting for so long, but circumstances intervened. It all worked out, I had enough water and rarely felt hungry.

The instant pot we received for Christmas has been an amazing new tool in my health journey. The fact that I can make tender, juicy chicken in 20 minutes from frozen means we eat out (delivery) a lot less. Poached eggs in the instant pot are also delicious. I've been trying new recipes here and there. I might have to stop telling people I don't cook, lol.

It would be cool if my Bluetooth scale auto-updated my Fat Secret log, hehe. I gained about 25 lbs since lockdown started. I have been stress eating like there's no tomorrow. On the bright side, I started intermittent fasting again, about 2 months ago and have lost 11lbs.
Moving in with my IL's has been a period of great adjustment. My MIL and I alternate nights on who makes dinner. She is a fantastic cook and they both want dessert for every dinner. I'm sticking to low-carb meals on my night and doing a so-so job of moderating what I eat when it's not my night. I could probably lose weight faster, but I'm content to create a lifestyle that I can stick with and lose about 1lb a week.
