Just turned 30, busy professional in the science/health fields. I'm going to school part-time for my MBA while working full-time so I'm pretty busy.
I should state up front that I'm tall for a girl - 5'9" and I've never really had a delicate frame (childbearing hips come to mind) so I get told that I can "get away" with a few extra pounds and people usually don't guess that I weigh as much as I do. Thing is, I have a family history of heart disease so now that I've turned 30, I really have to bring my weight down just for health matters. I'm a stress eater and unemployment and various other things in my life have lead me to pile on the pounds and I didn't realize just how much I'd piled on until after the fact. In the short run, I'd like to get back to where most of my clothes fit again (somewhere around 230ish), then back to my old low weight (187) then long-term goal of 165 (with my height/bone structure, I'm not sure how much below that I could go and still be healthy).
