My goal is to be down to 250 by the end of summer. My next goal after that will be 230, which was my weight before I started gaining so much weight. After that I'd like to get down to 200, which is the lowest weight I've reached in the last 10 years. I'm also trying to get pregnant right now and am researching what changes I'll need to make to my diet. Right now I'm thinking I'll be able to follow the Lifetime Maintenance Phase with some added protein. We've been trying for awhile, so I don't want to stop just because I'm on a role losing weight. I really would like to be down to 200-220 before conceiving, but I just can't stop trying given our infertility.

I did Atkins once before and got into the high 250s. I fell off the wagon, though, and gained a lot back-- even more. It's taken me awhile to be ready to try it again, but this time I'm determined not to go back to my old ways. I really never want to go back to that lifestyle and want to eat healthy for life. I'd been noticing lately that I was feeling more and more drained and exhausted after a carb-heavy meal. I stopped drinking soda over a week ago (last time I weighed I was at 290+, although that was a few months ago) so perhaps I've already lost weight from that. I do better on Atkins if I've already stopped drinking soda (that's how I succeeded the first time), so I have high hopes for this working.

Doing well. Still having cravings, though. :/ Hopefully that will abate in the next day or so.
