Finally broke free of the 276.8 curse. This morning I was down to 276.0. I never want to go through that again. I suppose it's inevitable but what an emotional test of courage.
I must confess that after 5 days of being exactly the same weight I started to lose faith in the diet. I took my husband's advice and had a piece of cheesecake (which was amazing, btw). I don't know if I buy into his theory that it would reset my metabolism but since I didn't gain a considerable amount of weight from it (gained 0.6 and then back to the dreaded 276.8 the next day), I am going to quote Sheryl Crow and call it my favorite mistake. :)
