Depression sucks. Yesterday was just a really bad day for me. It was stupid because I know life is good. I even had a drop in weight. I’d had a great evening Saturday night. Yet I just couldn’t function yesterday. Tears all day long. I think it is going to be the same today unfortunately. I decided to read a bit about keto and being fat adapted because I was also very hungry yesterday and was wondering why. I found this great blog - intuit nutrition. You may know all about it already but it was new to me. I loved it. I learned a great deal about low carb living. Read it if you get a chance. It might help with your weight loss journey. It was a positive in my day of negativity. I’ll have to search for something today. Should have gone to aerobics 😔

Depression IS difficult. Try to do something nice for yourself today that is healthy and good for your physical self. It will help your mental health to feel better. Even something little should give you a boost.

Chin up Sweetie we've all been there! Today make a difference go outside if its cold where you are just go out on the step and take a few cleansing breaths look at the sky and think positive thoughts. Your alive, life is good you will succeed!

I suffer from depression as well and so does my dad, I try to tell him to carry his own weather and let his actions guide his thoughts instead of the other way around. you may feel like sitting there and doing nothing cause it is all in vain but it's not. you got to love yourself and love is not a feeling it is an action

Thank you all for the kind words. ‘‘Tis the season I guess. I hate the holidays. They make me feel so “less than”. After Valentine’s Day I’ll start to feel better more often. To be honest the only holiday I enjoy is Halloween 🎃 thanksgiving would be great if it wasn’t for all that food. Lol As you said. I’m loving myself this season. Eating properly and trying to find something positive in every day.

You know in South Korea they have a day after Valentine's day called Black day (April 14 2018) where people eat Jajangmyeon and basically commiserate on being a single person. I liked holidays when I was a kid, but as an adult I like to see it through kids eyes but to me it's commercial and fake anymore. I hope the holidays are kinder to you

I have depression also it is a tough battle to fight. I have those days when I cry all day. I like to read in my down time to get my mind elsewhere for a bit. keep your head up

The thing about holidays including VD is that no matter who is around or what you give or what you get it never matches with the crap society, mainly those who want to sell something, puts in your head. The decorations are never beautiful enough or the presents numerous enough or whatever ... I always feel let down in some way. Never really good enough. It is the story of my life to date. But I know I have the power to change that. It is up to me and only me to change the scenario in my heart and head. Damn it is hard though!!!
