3.2 miles walked today....clear blue skies, steady breeze, and temps just over 70 degrees. Beautiful! Doggies came along on the lake route for 2.2 miles, but then it was too warm for my Lab gal. I finished the rest of the mileage with tunes.
Yesterday, because I was feeling my weight SHOULD have dropped, and it didn't....I did some analysis. I realize that ANY analysis is inherently flawed, as my foods aren't scientifically weighed, my exercise and other activity varies, and even the timing of my meals varies and these can all impact weight loss....along with a lot of other factors!! But, this is an "attempt" at analysis and it showed me that even when I try to maintain consistency, there are obviously those other factors that can thwart even the best laid plans!!!

Except for the mileage of your walks with the doggies..everything else
went right over my head...LOL..but as long as you know what it is thats OK..I figured that when you kept to a lower carb on certain days
you lost more..let me know it I am wrong..enquiring minds want to know..LOL...:O)

Actually Bren, I made a substantial drop in carbs almost 3 weeks ago and that gave me that nice 5-pound drop in 10 days. But in the last week, keeping everything nearly the same (or lower), it only gave me a 1-pound loss. What gives???? Where are my other 4 pounds???!!! LOL!!! Ah, the mysteries of the human body! Hope you're still enjoying great weather!

LOL Sandy..your body says enough is enough..I gave you 5..now you want 5 more??...geesh give you and inch and you want a mile...LOL...But I can understand what you mean..I lose and so surprised some times..and gain when I have done everything right..I just go with the flow now..it is what it is..but at least I am still going down even if it is .2 or .4 at a time..I'm in it for life..have a great evening..:O)

Gigi and Buffy....thank you. Still........I guess I'll always be looking for that elusive key that unlocks some secret way to reliably and consistently lose weight whenever I want. But, like Bren said...we're in this for life. Perhaps tomorrow......????? LOL!

well, you could look at it this way...from 2/13 till 2/27 you lost 2 lbs. and then roughly the next two weeks 2/28 till 3/13 you lost 4 lbs.. Seems to me that is terrific!! :)

Well, Lisa, I WILL look at it that way, as I like that perspective!!!! Just wish I weren't re-losing these pounds, but it is what it is. Can't get to a new low, or beyond, without going through these pounds (just) one more time. Hope you had a great day, today.

I think our bodies have this great sense of humor, & just love to keep us guessing...just when we think we have it ALL figured out, we realize it just isn't so, bummer! Hang in there, it WILL come off eventually, but geez already we all want it off NOW! Too bad we can't just vote on it...LOL!
