Trying to be faithful to logging...Birthday celebration yesterday...I ate more calorie dense food, but didn't really over do anything...The main thing is We were able to spend quality time with my youngest son who turned 34 yesterday and had a lovely time with his girlfriend and her daughter.

I sometimes sit in the darkness of the morning, trying to empty my mind as I empty my coffee cup...trying NOT to think of the flurry of activity that fills my day. One step at a time, one task at a time, be in the moment. I offered that advice to my husband who is feeling overwhelmed at work due to low staffing and every obstacle imaginable thwarting their efforts... Breathe...He is probably more A type than I am....He is a cool-collected A type, whereas I was once described as a "Chiquahaha on crack"....a little high strung, ya think???? I have sorta tamed that beast, but still, there is much residual A type behavior left in me...Breathe... Have a great day everyone. Smile, be happy and thankful for all that we are.
