Ohhhh my goodness is it tomorrow yet??? This is the first nice weekend of the year and I'm dying to go out cycling. I've got my bike all tuned up, just need to clean and lube the chain and double check tire pressure, and I'm ready to go!! I'm going to take this route that goes right behind my apartment through the city and then links up with a really nice paved trail that used to be a railroad but was converted. My plan is to go 25 to 30 miles before I turn around and come back. so it should be just about a 50-60 mile round trip.
It's supposed to be sunny and almost 60 tomorrow, which will be perfect with my warmer gear. I've got my saddlebag packed with high carb food for the ride so I don't bonk. Targeting under 5 hours, including rests. But we shall see.
