Egads, I almost made a mistake today: I almost decided to go ahead and eat a cookie with my coffee after work. It was out of habit, not out of want, so I'm not sure why 'habit' reared its ugly head at this point. I'll blame the weather: friggin' cold even by Canadian standards, grey skies, bone-chilling wind and resulting windchill. Has made me crave comfort foods off and on throughout the day, and gingersnaps/cookies are certainly comfort food. I know me: one slip will lead to another, often in the same day. Then I go through more slips over two or three days, and feel like I've undone all the good work and results I've achieved. I didn't end up having a cookie with my coffee, didn't even touch the cookie. Whew, close one!
