so today i'm gonna purchase some of those yicky shakes-just so that when i'm at work i have no excuses. so far i'm doing o-k but my carbs are right up near 30 and they should be around 20 for the first two weeks . . .the one thing i'm noticing about recording atkins here is that i Do eat alot more carbs than i think-maybe that's why when i tried it in the past i never lost and sometimes even gained weight. most of my carbs seem to come from mayo which i had previously though was ok on this diet. also just the nature of this diet, i'm not hungry and i'm eating way less calories than when i was on a low-calorie diet. lol this just might work-if i don't get bored with my food choices!

There are so many other "yummy" foods you can eat, if you are not a fan of the shakes. Besides, you should really try to eat real food instead. Shakes are alright as a snack but not a replacement for food. As far as mayo - try Kraft real mayo = zero carbs. You'll get the hang of it. Keep playing around with different foods. Best wishes.
