Damn, I've eaten horribly this week! Last night was the worst. I had a number of treats that I wouldn't normally have touched (a Skinny Cow ice cream sandwich and a fat-free pudding cup were bad enough...and then the midnight munchies hit and I ate a couple of cookies and a fistful of gummy bears). After a long visit from my family, they'd gone home. I don't see them often, and I must have been feeling emotional or something.
On top of that, I'm a little bit stressed. My SO was diagnosed with the symptoms of pre-diabetes two days ago. Of course, the logical response to such a situation is to get stressed out and cram a bunch of processed sugars in your face. Right? Gah. Well, I went almost three full months without eating a big pile of empty carbs, so I know I can do it again! The worst (best?) part is that it wasn't even satisfying. I feel like crap, which I suppose is just more motivation to avoid splurging to such an extreme in the future.
On a positive note, we bought a Bowflex today. It should be here within a week. Tomorrow is my normal weigh-in day, but I'm skipping it this week because I know it'll just piss me off; I honestly don't think I gained, but I'm sure I didn't lose. I'm going to be even more diligent than usual for the next seven days, and hopefully I'll be down to 127 by next Sunday. :)
