Miss those East Coast hikes. Hiking here in SoCal is very different. Bushes rather than trees, more dry brown dirt than greenery. On the upside, the sky is huge without anything tall blocking it, and there's a lot of wild animals scurrying around when it's not crowded (entertainment). I'm about a quarter mile from a couple of trail entrances, so it's convenient, and they dump out at the beach, which is like a reward at the end. 😊

I'm using the MapMyRide app. You can also log other workouts besides bike rides, like a hike or a gym workout.
