I got a good healthy laugh at myself trying to do a Cathe workout yesterday :) I am SO not coordinated !!!

I was in a Tuesday Morning store and found the step unit and risors, plus a DVD for $14.99 so I decided to buy and try. It is a really good workout, and I about fell on my kiester trying to do the fancy moves! I settled for just moving and stepping up and down with some crunches and kicks as much as possible. Some of this was very complicated, but I'm going to go back and do the beginner stuff as much as possible, and watch & learn too. The most important thing is to MOVE, to do SOMETHING when I put that DVD on and set up the step in front of my TV. The step is not the fancy one they sell on the website but is good enough for me.

Going to enjoy a relaxing dinner at Ruby Tuesday with one of my best friends tonight, already know I'm having three vegetables and a salad with water. They have a great baked spaghetti squash, steamed broccoli, and grilled zucchini. Back to work tomorrow and will do my 1.5 miles walking during my lunch.

Hahaha, I have a funny story about coordination. I did Jazzercise for 3 years. It took me about a month to get used to the routines. Then, about 6 months in, the instructor decided to do step aerobics 2/3 times per week. Many of us wanted to object, but tried to give it a go. I did OK, but did fall on my kiester a couple times. My younger sister, who is QUITE the athlete (gymnastics, swimming, mountain biking, hiking) went to Jazzercise with me one night and she looked SO uncoordinated! She wasn't willing to do it again. That made me laugh. I mean, I'm the pathetic, uncoordinated one and I stuck it out!

It's not about doing the moves perfect, it's about moving period! And what better to fall on but your kiester it has the most padding Lol!
