I've been struggling and decided to look back at my journal to see if I could reconnect with the feeling I had when I started. Didn't really work. I'm not giving up just waking up and accepting my responsibility, I know I could do better so I'm not sure what's causing me to only go at this half-heartedly. Maybe I'm afraid that once I lose the weight I will still feel insignificant and in turn I will just put it back on again. It looks like I need to try some mental exercise to adjust my attitude and maybe once I am balanced out I will begin to see positive results again. I will try to incorporate meditation into my daily routine, does anyone have any other suggestions?

I am a big fan of positive journaling. Having a journal or place like a blog where you only write down the good stuff from each day. It really helps with outlook and especially as a journal to look back over when you're feeling down- because it's full of all the wonderful things about us and in our lives. You can do this!

Losing weight is kind of like a marriage. When you first get married, your all excited and happy. Then you get comfortable and it takes work to it going (the honeymoon phase is over). So you have to find ways to excite you and keep you motivated. Go on Pinterest and make an inspiration board with pictures, recipes, quotes, etc. Get a new workout outfit. Try new recipes. Try a new work out. Jillian Michaels has a new workout dvd coming out that is supposed to help you get 5 pounds off in a week (or something like that, lol). I preordered it on amazon. You just have to find ways to remotivate.

When I know how long I have to be on the treadmill for just one small crap food item, it definately detours me from 99% of my bad food choices and makes me want to go to the gym because I do See how many calories can be burned.

First thing is you need to realize that you are NOT insignificant. You are a beautiful women who is important even if is just to yourself. You need to learn to love yourself and accept that to be true!!!!!!! I have been in your position and I didn't like the person I became and I learned that only I can change that.
