11th/119 til eval
It's at a point I must read on the Atkins. Been mentioning, but today is the day. Been busy w God knows what. I can procrastinate w anything that has to do w paperwork! Otherwise, I'm going to just do my own diet w calorie counting. I always feel better w low carbs, so I'll stick to that.
I'm feeling super spacey. I shouldn't be. Apparently, I'm not eating enough calories. I'm not following the proper way. Must get this act together! I just ate 3 hard boiled eggs and I'm still spacey. :/
Been getting some advise from fellow losers. I appreciate that.
My son said I probably have to work at this diet a bit harder as I have my final 20 to lose. I thought the scale would have moved a bit. I do remember if I waited til the 8th day, the scale would move in the right direction. Right now, it's the same for 4 days. Patience!
Went to the gym yesterday as my son was going. Felt great to exercise and get out of the house. I'm hesitant to exercise or drive myself today because I'm so spacy. Think I'll have a half of an orange. Maybe my blood sugar is low. I'll have my son drive today as needed.
I figured out how to enter new foods so my diary will be more accurate. I'm going to take the new 4 selfies today for my eyes only. I plan on doing that weekly.

I am on the atkins diet and you must must must get your salt up - one tablespoon a day of soya helps this or beef broth. You also should be taking omega 3 two to three times a day and a good multivitamin. Dont count calories, you dont need to, only net carbs. the ratio on your fatsecret pie should look like 60-70% fat, 25-30% protein and 10-20% carbs....dont skimp on food with the Atkins...it wont work that way.

This has been much easier than I thought. I actually answer and feel guilty if I don't with Fat Secret. It seems to have everything I need. A few of the recipes have been absolutely delicious. I have been on a low calorie diet since January 1st, 2013 and in less than a month I have lost 12 pounds and I feel much better without this weight. I have 33 more to go. Thanks Fat Secret

Thank you so much for the support, resources and motivation. I just redid my Atkins Community profile under LSW19 w same geeky profile pic. I'll start the correct Induction Phase this Monday, in the meantime I'l adjust to figuring out net carbs, I forgot how to do that. I feel I'm getting a better handle on things w re-educating. I did do the Atkins Induction 2 years ago, and kept most of it off. I am going to get re acquainted.

The "spacy" feelings that you're getting definitely has to do with your caloric intake. To be be more specific, the spacy feeling comes from not eating enough carbohydrates. Remember!! Not all carbs are bad and believe it or not, they're very important when trying to lose weight. Just make sure that they're complex carbs so you get the very beneficial fiber. You'll feel full and the spacy feeling will be a thing of the past. Just make sure you track your complex carb intake so you can still stay within your desired low intake range. Do you have kitchen scales by chance?

LSW Net Carbs is easy, take your carbs, subtract fiber or sugar alcohols and that is your Net Carbs.

LSW...go under tool and there is a CARB COUNTER...simply enter your food in their and it gives you your net carbs. I love it. I also signed up for the quick start package that sends you a tiny booklet with all the net carb calculations for sooooo much food!!!

p.s. NO FRUIT AT ALL IN INDUCTION. Go to the drug store ask at the counter for a package of ketostix (they are about $8)...then you can measure if you are in ketosis..this is when you are burning ONLY FAT no longer are you using stored carbohydrates for fuel. Its the goal of atkins but i amsure you already know this :)
