My wii fit age is 55. Considering that i am 37 and that i USED to be quit fit that is quite discouraging. However, I am ready to accept the challenge. And considering that it's very fun and will keep track for me, it just might help. Although I do have doubts, considering the type of workouts I USED to do and the very mild (but fun!)type exercises the wii offers. It does offer some very important things that going to the gym did not: it's fun, it's encouraging, it lets you know when you do something wrong, i can do it in my pajamas, i can do it anytime day or night, i can do it for ten minutes or for an hour (and not feel like the person on the other side of the gym is saying oh wimp what's 5 minutes gonna do for you?) and did i mention it's fun? and i went for a walk today as well as wiiing for an hour. just for good measure. and because there is a spot to record activity not done with the wii. and i guess when my avatar gets thin, maybe i will realize that i am thin and will stop telling myself how fat i am thus encouraging these words/thoughts to manifest themselves outwardly.
