decided to lower my goal to only 10-15 lbs loss to start. I figured if I put my goals at a more realistic, approachable start I would be less likely to give up! So, I am working towards 10lbs at a time until I reach my total 60lb weight loss!!! Ive never tried this before but seeing 10lbs to go v.s. the typical 60lbs makes my brain connect my body to want to work harder. I CAN DO THIS!!

I agree that setting a more realistic goal will give you a better chance for success, and then when you reach that one, you'll be that much more motivated to set a new, also easier to achieve one. As for me, I think even a goal to lose 5 pounds is challenging enough -- especially considering how hard it is for me to exercise when I can barely even walk!

I been on a diet for 13 days and lost 13 lbs.. wanna know how I did it.. unlimited green veggies and 4 -8 oz protein drink a day and unlimited all no calorie drinks.. never felt better and its doc approved .. the lbs are melting off.. I eat veggies all day, I mean ALL day ..im never hungry .. at first it was so hard... but if its not green I don't eat it... find me on facebook edna sweeney , I post every meal now all my friends are losing weight and its healthy because Im only eating vitamins and thats all your body needs ...

Mystic, I appreciate the info and Im happy that combo worked for you-but diets and such are out of my life for good. I have gone every route known to man....and have always gained the weight back because I can not sustain living on no carbs or low fat, or what have you....the only way that works for me is good old fashioned exercise and calorie counting. But the best to you! :)
