Okay, I can do this! Just signed up after learning at 42 I have diabetes...good god! So the goal is not only to loose some weight but to seriously reduce the carb intake. I started this past Saturday September 25th and am already showing improvment signs on the morning sugar test, yea for me! It's tough, no doubt but I know I will beat this.

I have enlisted my family and friends to join and help me through this journey. Hopefully we can all support each other with our goals.

One last note, I have decided I am going to reward myself once per week IF I continue to reduce my weight and sugar count. So, once per week I am going to allow myself one cheat meal. The catch to the cheat meal is that it is only allowed during lunch hour and it must be followed up by an immediate walk. No couch potatoe is allowed!
