Today I took a now too big dress and repurposed it into a top with longer sleeves. Overall I think it turned out pretty good. I have several of these dresses still and I’m excited to make more summer tops :)

HOW RESOURCEFUL! I just gave my little grand daughter (age 8) her first sewing-by-hand lesson yesterday. She did very well for her first try. I need to get out my sewing machine and teach her to sew on that. Great job!
