Thanks! Sorry it has taken so long to respond. My GP told me to loose weight, and recommended the Blood Sugar diet.In two months, lost 14 kilos, but that was with a few "cheat" days thrown in - over 30 pound. It was really fast at first, and then predictable - a kilo every two to three days. I felt so much better! The book is by Michael Moseley - it was interesting reading - I told everyone that ten days after I read it, I would start it - it has been far easier than I thought it would be, but social occasions are a challenge, and of course, the family doesn;t have to follow it either. I have to pretty much weigh everything - I had breakfast (eggs, or good quality cottage cheese) at about 11:00 am, and then dinner - that is enough calories left to have a good meal. The diet "officially ended, and the goal for this week have been just to maintain the loss, but take a little break, because there is a lot happening at work (I am changing jobs). Some good, positive, long term habits are changing, all to the good.
