Been vigilant about logging food and balancing macros. Have done intermittent fasting too, hoping the weight drops off! I joined a challenge, and successfully completed it, BUT on paper it looks like I went AWOL the last two days! Getting back to the computer is difficult later in the day. The two elderly family members that I care for full time take a lot of time and effort and some nites I crash on the couch. Mentally and physically I feel great. Yesterday was my first day I experienced almost insatiable hunger, so I ate, waited awhile then ate more until I felt good. I stayed within my calories and fat and carb allowances. PHEW! We will complete 21 days of 30 carbs or less and then I think I am ready to switch it up. The weight isn't coming off as fast as I had hoped and if we stay away from crappy carbs, I think out diets will benefit from healthy carbs. No cravings, but you know what sounds really good? A small perfectly ripe banana or even half of one! :) Have a great rest of the week everyone!
