For 6 years I've been having trouble sleeping partly due to waking with headache pain due to lifetime accumulated cervical spine injuries c4 to c7. but slowly getting better, but lately worse, so for last 3 months I started at times, using **alcohol and valerian root middle of night to help get back to sleep and knock out headache pain.
Anxiety increased, partly due to the alcohol, but mainly due to being bombarded with the crazy behavior of worldwide government leaders (childish), the manipulative controlling behavior of trickle down corporate 'policy' where even small businesses and certainly corporations as a whole treat us in inhumane ways, treat us all as numbers. Insensitive, uncaring, Like robotic phone operators putting us on hold, claiming to 'value us as customers every 30 seconds' as we wait on hold for up to an hour or more, and store checkers chatting to each other as they ignore us and mechanically count and price our purchases, and charge $12.50 for a small watermelon, and then have the gall to ask if you want (to buy) a bag to carry out goods they are selling to you. Corporations nit pick and resent every penny they spend for anything that is normal cost of business. In California a few years ago they trumpeted the waste and cost of damage to landfill of PLASTIC grocery bags, and got legislation to 'remove' plastic bags from all stores. So, now you need to purchase a paper bag, if you want one. But they never SAY they will charge you if you say yes to their "do you want a bag?" but they charge 10 cents for each one, that for over 70 years were always happily given at no charge since you (a real person) are buying goods from them. This is just the tip of the iceberg in regards to corporate trickle down behavior.
** I stopped using alcohol 4 days ago, and instead, at the recommendation of my new Doctor, to take one ounce of organic apple cider vinegar, with one Tbsp of Honey an hour before going to bed.
And the last 3 nights I've slept through the night without having to get up, and so far no headaches.

>NowIunderstand, yes it has been helping get to sleep. :) the doctor had recommended taking ACV an hour before bed. then agreed to the honey when I mentioned it.
