Ugh...guess my body didn’t like all the meat and/or salt I ate yesterday. Maybe I should have just eaten the sugar cookie—couldn’t have done much more harm haha. Onward and hopefully downward with the scale tomorrow.

Your fine sweetie... mine fluctuates all the time... well the scale goes up that is meat...sodium.. if you feel good than your ok ...if not just continue your plan like before xoxox;)

Thanks maxie...you are such a good friend and source of support! I needed the reassurance today. I know I didn’t cheat or go off plan so I don’t feel too bad, but it is frustrating when you don’t cheat and the scale goes up. (And I really could have cheated yesterday! 🙂) Stupid scale...wish I didn’t feel the need to weigh every day but it keeps me motivated.

Don't get down!!! 99% of that is just water weight from the sodium! You only gain (and unfortunately) lose a few grams of fat per day...

Just remember, carbs and salt will make you retain water weight. One gram of carbs holds something like 4grams of water. Carbs and salt are not bad, they just work in your body as they were intended to!

Remember its a journey...one day at a time. The scale is just a temporary snapshot of where you are. If you weighed yourself once an hour you would probably be amazed. So don't let this one snapshot dictate how you should feel about your hard work and progress. You are doing great and it will be reflected in the scale soon.

This is one of the many reasons you shouldn't weigh yourself everyday. Your weight will fluctuate from day to day naturally, so try not to beat yourself up too much. Your doing amazing =)

Thanks Mary! I know I shouldn’t weigh every day but it keeps me motivated...if the scale goes down I feel energized to continue, if it goes up I know I need to keep going.
