Weighed myself this morning. I gained back over half of the weight that I lost. This is a set back but I know that I can do this. I have to recommit to this everyday.

Just start making small changes to your diet to get into the habit. I now get fruits and/or vegetables with every meal (they take over my plate at some meals). And be sure to get good fats, nothing satisfies hunger more than fat. My diet before I started losing was filled with cereal, pastas, breads, crackers, pretzels, etc. I personally think that's what was keeping me from losing. I slowly cut down on those foods and I feel it has made a huge difference.

amen! That was my issue...carbs are definately addictive. Once I gradually cut back on them, I don't miss them so much. I only restarted my carb curbing 3 weeks ago but feel so much better. It doesn't take much longer than a week to get used to eating without so many carbs. I steam veggies, they taste so much better than boiled or microwaved.

I have become quite savvy at preparing vegetables...roasted, sauteed, grilled, raw. We have huge salads and I make my own dressings which are way better than bottled and I top them with fresh berries, segmented oranges, or dried fruit. I'm into any veggie rich with color and green leafy stuff. My latest is Kale "chips" which is roasted kale in olive oil and salt. They are so addicting you can squeeze in a serving or two of vegetables without even knowing it. My husband actually reminds me to get kale at the store!
