Feeling good today, moving faster and faster, loving the feel
I wrote this a few days ago, enjoy or run, we live :)
Infatuated
Words, wonderful scary words
Chase me down stairways
Across old covered bridges
Begging to be heard, made real
By some speak easy poet
I love the idea
But I am one man
So many words
I try as best I can
Pen in mind
Paint shadows to light
Voiced of long lost poets.
Langston Hughes, Edgar Guest,
And Pablo Neruda,
Salute the brotherhood
As I pass near their souls
Respect shared, life grows
Rare be I stumble
The words drop in line on there own
Order chosen long before,
I hear even one word
I guilt in realms of endless buttered emotion
Accepting praise, for art so cleverly scripted
I ache in the guilty pleasure
Riding wave after wave of wonder
Until reality crashes the moment
Glass shatters, words oh beautiful words
Flipped, tossed and strewn all about
Nay, I fear to tremble
As again they fall in their comfortable place
