At my weekly weigh in today I am down another pound. I am very happy with this because for a few weeks I didn't budge. I am learning how to cut down on calories, while eating full and satisfying meals and snacks, and never feeling hungry. I believe this is why the scale finally budged. I gave up nuts, peanutbutter, and stick to light cheese snacks; traded more cottage cheese to replace ricotta, and am eating more fish; also fewer thick shakes. I plan to continue in this way indefinitely, and if I get sick of Phase 1 after I have lost what I feel is a substantial amount of weight, I will start eating carbs at breakfast. That's what I miss right now, breakfast cereal, however, when I added it after 2 weeks on phase 1, my weight climbed 2 pounds up.
