Down 1.5 lbs this week. I am allowed to start maintenance as soon as tomorrow. At 155.5 lbs (70.5 kg), my BMI is close to 25 (25.1 or 25.3, depending on whether I enter my weight and height in imperial or metric), but I am comfortable with my weight. Ideally I should keep on getting it lower, but I would rather take it slow.

My blood pressure has gotten better with my new medication, but only when I get a reading at home in the morning. Whenever I am outside to some doctor or health care provider, it is always high. It doesn't seem to respond to weight loss at all. I have an appointment with my family doctor this week, I'll see what she says.

With maintenance, I am allowed up to 3 starches per week and up to 3 portions of fruit per day. I am basically allowed everything, but what was forbidden to me during phase 1 is allowed in small and controlled portions, and rarely. This will come in handy for the holidays. However, I wasn't very hungry today because of my period that just started. I still got to indulge in a grande soy cappuccino from Starbucks today -- really good!
