Another gain. I supposed it's to be expected. I didn't exercise nearly enough this week. Bad habits die hard. I'm trying not to get too caught up on the numbers on the scale, but it's hard to not let it get me down. Thankfully, I have a wonderful support system around me to keep my head above water.

I like the idea of coming up with a list of things that I'm thankful for. I figure I can do this weekly. A list of seven things that I'm grateful for and hopefully this will contribute to my being positive. (thank you to my FS friends who gave me the idea)

1 - My mother - we kids have always said that if we were Catholic that we'd nominate her for sainthood. She's so amazing.

2 - School - I'm so grateful that for a few hours of the day that the school bus comes and takes my son away. I know that may sound bad, but damn there are times I need a break!!!

3 - Bowling - for the simple reason that it gets me out of the house. Since I'm not working and most of my friends are far way or too busy with their own families, I don't do much socializing. Each Friday night I get to hang out with friends and family at bowling were we laugh and enjoy each other.

4 - God - without Him, I'd be dead.

5 - Music - I have several thousand songs downloaded and many more on cd. My music is quite literally the soundtrack to my life.

6 - Digital Cameras - thank goodness for the ease of digital cameras. I love that I can go to my son's football game and that night have images uploaded for fam and friends to see on myspace/facebook.

7 - Internet - Because so many of my friends are busy or have moved away, the internet is the easiest way to stay connected. Yay for the WWW!!!


Okay, now it's time to get back to my fall cleaning. Monday I'm starting a Bible Study at my house and it's in no shape for entertaining. YIKES!! Thank you all for your support and encouragement and I hope each and everyone one of you has a fantastic weekend.

Just keep your head up. That weight will come off, just keep going. I like your list of things you're grateful for, looks sort of like my list..lol...

I enjoy bowling, too, about every 5 years. I was doing well to bowl 120...then someone pointed out I had the wrong fingers in the holes. It didn't help.

Thanks doit, I appreciate that. I'm not struggling with my eating and things it's just that I've been killer busy. I'm hoping after Thanksgiving things will finally slow down and I will get back to my FatSecret schedule. I hope you have a GREAT weekend and I'll chat with you later.
