Okay my friend ... STOP thinking so much!!!!! Trusting your body is important ... but remember trust is something earned not freely given. If you are anything like me ... you have long lost your natural hunger and satiety cues. It takes a while to rediscover those ... but our bodies ... really do know best. Our bodies are not our enemies ... they are US. There are SO many variables in how our "numbers" get reflected on a scale. Stress, hormones, sodium, the full moon, sore muscles, and who knows what else ... all impact the scale ... and scales are only tools. Although you *thought* you gained last week ... I am willing to bet you actually *lost* but all that gym time had an effect on your muscles which were sore and retaining extra fluid to heal. I hope this is received well ... I just KNOW that if you simply put one foot in front of the other and make changes to how you eat and move you WILL loose and your body will HEAL and you are going to feel so damn good!!!
