I've been stress eating and not recording my meals. I have to start logging again. Going back to my verbal reminder. "You bite it, you write it!" This really helps me not nibble on my kids plates after they say they are full. I don't like to waste food because I grew up in the age of "finish your plate-there are kids starving in the world" era.

To help get myself back on track, I've started health care with a new doctor. It is a new direct-care business model. By cutting out the extra staff and filing insurance claims, he's able to offer benefits such as lower costs on lab work, imaging/procedures and 40-60% less on many medications. My initial consultation was 90 minutes and then follow-up visits will be 40-60 min. depending on what is being discussed. Bonus-we both like reading and he offered to lend me one of his books!

We discussed some new macro targets for this app so I'm excited that he agreed to help keep me accountable to myself! I also have some small, attainable exercise/ stress reduction goals that he has set for me as well. I haven't really used that portion of the app before. Looking forward to what we can accomplish together on my health journey!
