My goal with this challenge was to hopefully lose weight but happy to maintain. I must admit I failed the majority of the mini-challenges. I still have a few events this week which is the last week of this challenge. I am making a goal to lose 20 pounds next year. That is less than 1/2 pound a week. It will be tough with my metabolism but willing to give my best effort.

Holidays are always the worst time for diets, i think your goal is really great, it is reasonable, and 1/2 a pound a week is something you can feel good about and achieve. I know you can do it. I have a metabolism problem also, actually have none... my thyroid is completely dead. The 125 mgs of levothyroxine only replaces what we have lost but it does NOTHING to help with weight loss. A lot of people think it helps weight loss but it doesn't, it just replaces what your body needs (keep me from going crazy) . Losing weight is a battle but i think your battle plan looks realistic and what a thrill to see the scale move down. I think its a smart plan.

I am on the same medication and dosage as you. For me it really does help with the fatigue so I am able to make it thru the day. And the energy to exercise. I agree my goal is realistic. I need to get my head into the game and do it. Thanks for you comments and support. Happy News Year!
